Many of us have a close relationship with our older crock pots and slow cookers. When the knob broke, we thought it could be the end of a long relationship. Our crockpot has been in the family for a long time.
The reason the original knobs break is because they are completely made of plastic which (over the years) brittles and cracks. We were pleased to find a replacement to it. We purchased a knob off of Amazon which you can find by clicking here.
There is a video below of me changing the knob! We did need a small screwdriver (shown below).
We are now using and enjoying my moms crockpot again!
